Online Occupational Therapy for Everyday Life

For women navigating health, motherhood and life changes

When life changes, you may still be managing your responsibilities while feeling exhausted or unlike yourself. I’m Kate Knox, an HCPC-registered occupational therapist. I work online with women to understand what is happening in everyday life and make practical, personally meaningful changes.

What we can explore together

Finding a sustainable rhythm of activity, rest and responsibility

Understanding what drains or restores your energy, and adapting routines

Making room for valued roles and activities alongside motherhood, work or caring

Reconnecting with interests, relationships, identity and meaning

Changing your surroundings, support or expectations where possible

Start with an occupational assessment

We explore your roles, routines, capacity, environment, strengths and the activities that matter to you. I then share my understanding with you, so we can agree priorities and goals together.

The assessment includes: up to 90 minutes online, either in one appointment or two sessions of up to 45 minutes; a separate 30-minute feedback and goal-setting meeting; and a concise 1–2 page written summary of your priorities, goals and next steps.

You can choose the assessment without committing to ongoing therapy.

If further OT would help, we can discuss practical changes to try and review together. Additional sessions are arranged and charged separately.

Is this right for you?

This may suit you if a health condition, motherhood or another life transition has changed how you participate in everyday life. We will discuss other or additional support if your main needs fall outside this remote OT service. This is occupational therapy with a reflective, coaching-informed approach; it does not provide counselling or psychological therapy.

Tell me briefly what has changed in your everyday life and what you hope to get help with. Please do not include detailed medical information in your first email. I will reply to discuss suitability and next steps before you decide whether to book.
